IE URL Lock 1.3.0.1 adds support for Windows XP x64 (64-bit). Otherwise, it is identical to IE URL Lock 1.3.0.0. IE URL Lock 1.3.0.0 adds several enhancements over 1.2.0.0: - Support for 64-bit Internet Explorer added through a 64-bit MSI package - Fixed an issue that can cause the generic navigation-canceled page to display instead of the configured access-denied location - Added an ADMX version of the policy configuration template The 32-bit and 64-bit MSI packages coexist peacefully, including during uninstallation. On 64-bit Windows systems, it is advised to install both MSI packages to lock down the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Internet Explorer. A new version of IE URL Lock is planned to follow shortly. In that upcoming version, support for rewriting URLs using regular expressions is getting added. This is analogous to a client-side version of Apache's mod_rewrite. With that, more use cases can be satisfied, such as always using https:// whenever a http:// URL is opened.
