About ActiveMail
ActiveMail allows you to communicate without continually bumping into
usability issues. Lawrance Consulting wrote this program to serve the messaging
needs of Internet users worldwide. While many groups and companies continue to use
and develop traditional newsletter servers, Lawrance Consulting decided to totally start
from scratch and build completely upon the latest software technology that Microsoft has
to offer in Microsoft Internet Information Server.
The result? Newsletters will no longer be challenging to subscribe
to or withdraw from. Instead of sending an e-mail message back to the server
following their instructions, why not click on a link that says "Unsubscribe"
within the message? Or, when subscribing, why not do it directly from the
organization's web site? Want more functionality? ActiveMail is easily
extensible thanks to Microsoft's existing DCOM structure. Want easy support for the
new Rendezvous Protocol (RVP)? Look no further, because we are currently the only
implementation of this new standard.
